The Golden Age
Most countries have a kind of Golden Age. A period when the upper class and the smart ones do very well at the expense of other people.
The Dutch Golden Age, in the seventeenth century, brought much wealth and cultural development for the better-off and much misery for the others and, of course, slavery.
It took a lot of blood, effort and courage to change this.
This series is about this kind of period that took place in most countries and still takes place around the world.
